Alessio Bascherini
Operations Director
Hailing from Genoa in Italy where he worked in some of the most prestigious hotels on the Italian Riviera, Alessio began his events career in London and gained considerable experience in the Grosvenor House Hotel, with its Great Hall (capacity 2,000 covers). He joined Chamberlain’s in 2001. Alessio is responsible for all operational matters within the group and is a familiar and popular character.
Matthew Marshall
Executive Head Chef
Matthew is a member of the prestigious Academy of Culinary Arts and is passionate about the food that he and his team produce. Matthew spent his early career working in and around Australia. On his return to the UK, he worked for three years at Hanbury Manor, before moving to the RAC Club. Matthew joined Chamberlain’s in 2004 and under his tutelage both the Events Division and Chamberlain’s Restaurant and have moved into the front rank of fine dining.
