Past Events

We have hosted a large number of events, each with its own character and demand. For every event we have catered, we have always received compliments of the highest regard.

We helped Credit Suisse celebrate their 150th anniversary at Canada Square by preparing a buffet for 2,500 people. We served 7,000 beers, 1,000 bottles of wine and 3,000 bottles of water!

We hosted the Swaps Ball of 1,000 attendees at the Old Billingsgate market, where we managed to serve everyone 3 courses and coffee in less than 1 hour and 45 minutes! We also held a cash bar till 3am, which made this a very successful event.

At Guildhall, we have catered for dinners from 200 up to 600 people. The comment we always have is that the quality of food and service is the same that if they were sitting at the restaurant.

All in all, whatever the event, Chamberlain's has the right menu and the right service to suit any budget.

Most recently, Chamberlain's were delighted to deliver Square Mile Salute a truly unique culinary event with the support of The Academy of Culinary Arts. The might of the city, including Mayor of London Boris Johnson, together with former Chief of General Staff Sir Mike Jackson and Jeremy Clarkson, gathered in Guildhall for a black tie banquet in aid of raising much-needed funds for vital Personnel Recovery Units. This is part of a drive by The Royal British Legion, Help for Heroes and ABF The Soldier’s charity who are working together to build and run centres for wounded troops on their return from active duty.

The evening began with a champagne reception in The Crypts together with live canapé, sushi and caviar stations. This was followed by a gastronomic extravaganza served in the Great Hall and hosted by Brian Turner CBE; the five-course menu was devised and cooked by an impressive array of top international chefs including Albert Roux OBE, Mark Flanagan MVO, the Royal Chef and John Williams MBE, Executive Chef at The Ritz, to name a few. The banquet was coupled with upbeat entertainment and ended with a very lively and enthusiastic auction.

Square Mile Salute demonstrates a winning combination of the city’s business leaders and exceptional culinary talent, allowing such an event to take place while at the same time giving something back to those hugely in need of support.

We are pleased to announce that plans for Square Mile Salute 2012 are underway – pencil 22nd February 2012 in your diary! We look forward to seeing you there!
